SOLVED!!! Which episode is this one?

I have a fragmentary memory of this episode of Medical Center. Maybe someone can identify it for me.

It involves a married couple, probably in their late twenties to early thirties. They're getting into a financial difficulty. The husband had recently told his jerk boss to f-ck off and then quit. But now they have no income. The wife, I seem to recall might have some job at a local university or something like that, but it doesn't pay much. Some sleazebag younger professor (I think he was a professor or teacher) boldly propositions her which she ignores. But when home financial concerns start appearing, she reluctantly contacts him. I can remember the next scene. She had shown up at the dude's apartment, nicely dressed in a short black mini-dress and nylons, as per the fashion style of the period. She's leaning back against the wall near the front door, and you can see by her body and facial language that she's already regretting her desperate action. She doesn't even want to go further past the door. She changes her mind and decides to leave. The sleazebag, who for some reason is dressed comfortably in an African dashiki robe, won't take no for an answer insults her then proceeds to attack her. The actual attack is not shown. Next scene shows her in a hospital bed at the medical center, fortunately not showing any external injuries or bruises. The husband shows up and is caring. Sometime later, he learns the full circumstances of his wife's attack.. So he becomes angry, storms back to the hospital, goes into the room and yells at his wife. Shortly thereafter, she's discharged but now she's distraught and depressed. Walking down the city street, some dude offers her a ride. When he propositions her, she accepts. But oh, oh, he turns out to be a vice cop and she gets arrested for solicitation. My memory is a blank after that. Someone she gets bailed out of jail and reconciled with her husband who realizes and understands that events led up to this and he forgives his wife, asking her forgiveness in return. She asks about his old job and this I remember. He tells her that he did go back to the office but his former boss threw him out. They'll both have to start all over again. What was the name of this episode and what was the season number?
I do remember one scene. Our good doctor, Chad Everett, learns the identity of the attacker. He goes to the sleazebag's apartment and threatens to beat him up. It's possible as the good doctor looks to be 6'0" compared to the villain's 5'10". The lowlife demonstrates he is also a coward by cringing in fear and begging for mercy. The good doctor is by nature a compassionate man, so even though he's outraged and capable of beating the jerk, he's not vindicative or sadistic. And he was no doubt smart not to take the law into his own hands. He simply leaves the guy's apartment leaving him still cringing at the door. As I recall in the episode no one contacts the police and I don't know why except that maybe the wife and husband knew she could get into trouble if she admitted to attempting prostitution so they felt it wise to let it go.
The doctor's role in this episode was not so much medical as the woman had no internal and external injuries, not even a bruise. But he guides the woman and her husband towards reconciliation and mutual forgiveness.

SOLVED!!! Thank you!
I had to research the Internet to verify the episode but once I had the title of the episode, it was easy.

I always knew that in this great, big, and wide country of ours, there's a subject matter expert on just about everything and anything. The trick is to find that person. Thankfully the Internet makes it easier.
