I remember watching this episode as a kid with my parents. Even at that age, I thought it was a sweet story.

Yes, very well done for such a short skit spanning such a large span of time.

Elaine Joyce looked great.

Decades had shown this episode in January to celebrate the anniversary of the final Love American Style back in 1974. This is one of my favorites.

This episide reminded me a lot of Same Time, Next Year, but the ending was made "happier" than the play/movie was.
