Is this movie available in DVD? VHS? any format?

I have been looking for it on DVD but have had no luck either. The BBC shop has a 90 minute short version. I guess I have to watch my not very good Beta copy I taped from TV. Wasn't it great?

Hi there - this is a rather out of date messageboard but I though I'd give it a try..! I was wondering whether you know if these Louis Malle documentaries about India are out now? I have looked on Criterion's website but it seems their box set is not out until April 07 and ideally I want to get hold of this sooner. Can you suggest where I might find it? Many thanks! Hi,
I want to know if this is the documantary where the director explores how death is dealt with in India, eg lots of scenes of dead people being washed in the river, being prepared for funerals in houses etc. I thought it was Louis malle-I saw it in my college years in the mid 1990's. Any ideas?

GREAT NEWS. Criterion is releasing it on April 24, 2007. It si part of their "Eclipse" series.

This is just great that, after a long awaited anticipation, they have agreed to release this wonderful documentary on DVD.

I have chatted and exchanged E-mails with many of you who have been looking for this documentary. At last, we will have it available for our viewing pleasure.
