What Was Everyone's Favorite Part?

Mine was the "Pickin' and Grinnin'" part, as well as the cornfield jokes, the guy on the news, *what was his name?*, and the part where they gave each other raspberries during a song.

I always loved the Ida Lee and Laverne skits played by Ronnie Stoneman and Gordie Tapp. He would insult her and she would hit him over the head with a frying pan, rolling pin or whatever she could reach first.

Good to see the reruns back on tv again.

When I was a kid in the 70's Hee Haw and Bubble head would be on Saturday nights together and I remembered that song but for years I had forgotten then one day a few years ago I started to sing it the shower the memories came rushing back.

Whenever Roy plays his guitar and does the 'I shot a man in Reno' bit and imitates a tommy gun with his guitar while he's playing it.

I liked all of the musical sections and, when I hit puberty, the girls (especially the Moonshiners skit! 😀)

No blah, blah, blah!

My favorite musical feature was when the Hee Haw Gospel Quartet would perform, especially after Kenny Price joined the show. Not that Gordie Tapp couldn't sing, but his voice was more of a baritone, while Kenny had a full, rich bass.

My favorite comedy feature was The Culhanes of Kornfield County. Cousin Clem, Cousin Junior, Cousin Grandpa and Cousin Lulu sitting like stumps, delivering their ridiculous lines in a total monotone, always got me.

"You may have come on no bicycle, but that does not say that you know everything."
