I remember watching this show as a kid and I remember a background singer performer actress etc. and I always wondered who she was. She was blond had pigtails good looking but not a regular Hee Haw Honey. She always wore bib overalls and I always thought this was weird as all the other young good looking women on the show wore either shorts or flowery dresses. I could be 100 percent wrong about her clothing as its been a long time sence I have even seen a ep I'm just kinda curious.

Was she blonde or brunette?

Kathy Baker was the only girl on the show that I remember wearing overalls.

OK just checked Cathy Baker on IMDB and Yep thats her. It evan mentions on her IMDB profile that the bib overals were her signature look.

Gotta love the Hee Haw honeys, but Kathy Baker was something else 

In the first couple of seasons, when they listed the cast at the start of the show, they actually listed her AFTER Beauregard the hound dog. I think she must have finally objected, because in the 4th or 5th season, they finally moved her up ahead of the dogs in the listing.

Really? Oh wow, I had no idea. I thought she was cuter than anything. The kind of girl you could take fishing and steal a kiss from.  Nothing like a country girl.

I was most attracted to Lisa Todd (AKA 'Sunshine Cornsilk), but I can understand the attraction to Cathy Baker, who really did seem to be a good ol' girl.

You ought to look up the 'Country's Family Reunion Salute To The Kornfield,' which was a 'Hee-Haw' cast reunion show (2000-something, not sure exact year). Over 30 years after the last ep of 'Hee-Haw,' Cathy Baker looks like she's barely aged a day.
