DVD?

I cannot understand why Catweazle has not been transferred to DVD. It is still a popular series. Check out the prices for tapes! I have purchased the 2nd series but it is difficult to get the 1st. My grandchildren love them.(So do I!)

i got the dvd's from the first series and the set is friggin brilliant! there is a lovely booklet, too, with lots of information about the actors etc.
i remember watching "catweazle" in the 80s and its great to be able to watch it any time now!
i like the series because catweazle is not a comic, one-dimensional guy but a fully-rounded character with a very specific way of handling things. you can really feel his worry and homesickness, trying to find his way in this strange new world. glad he could make his way home at last!

Why has Edward Woodward got four 'd's' in his name?
Because otherwise he'd be Ewar Woowar.

A very belated reply, I'm sorry. Yes, thanks, I did persevere and as I have a multiregion player, I don't care where I buy from. Catweazle has truly stood the test of time. My son now shares the magic with his two little boys. He used to love reading the books too, wore the cover off one edition!
