Jan's married life
Did she become so uptight after marrying Phillip? I just never liked the direction her character went in. For the reunions/her adult life, I would have had her as an artist, single mother.
sharefunny, I always felt the same, that she would end up a single mother living in Greenwich Village or someplace as an artist, not marrying a guy like Phillip.. In some ways the reunion shows missed the mark...
shareFor the most part, I think the writers did a lousy job. Just a couple I would have kept the same:
Greg: Never showed interest in the medical field, or science through the show. I would have had him in entertainment - maybe playing in a wedding band, or working as a producer. Divorced but friends with his ex and mother of his son and daughter.
Marcia: Ok, I probably would have gone the same route with her in fashion. Maybe a former small time model turned designer. Married to a stage actor, they had twin daughters.
Peter: I liked him in the military, I would have had him be a career man. I never saw him as a business man. He would be married with two sons.
Jan: As I said, a free-lance, single, married artist. With one son who is very independent.
Bobby: I liked the race car driver direction for him. Loving the single, childless life.
Cindy: Working as a teacher. Married with three children.
