Chet + Marsha

I know that Mrs. Marsha Patterson was married but I always thought that Marsha and Chet had great chemistry together. I kinda found myself hoping she'd get a divorce and be with Chet (obviously too heavy for a sitcom but still...). Anybody else feel like they should've made the character of Marsha single and work in a romance between her and Chet?
