This scene is so great. It proves what a comical genius Lucy was....as well as the scene where her character gets drunk. I absolutely love this movie, and I am watching it right now on TCM. Actually, all the scenes in this movie are great. Lol. They certainly don't make them like this anymore.

On a shallow note, Tim Matheson is a stone cold fox!!! He looks so great in this film, and he comes across so sweet and protective as the oldest brother Mike....especially in the scenes with Phillip.

Love this movie!!!

You are absolutely right! This is one of my ALL time favorite movies. There are the best lines in this film. One if my favorite lines is when Phillip says...Santa's been here, Santa's been here. I am 50 and gave said this to my sister every Christmas morning that I can remember. I actually thought you were her. We are both watching in different states, and she said the exact things she would have...down to Tim Matheson. My God, he is still gorgeous!

I just watched this again and it still makes me laugh, especially all of LB scenes. Just before her first date w HF she kisses one of her kids good bye and says *pass it on*, lol.
Later, on her date w HF @ the Buena Vista Cafe, HF asks her if she likes children. She gets this kind of glazed over look on her face w her reply *Uh, yeah, within reason.*
