From the BEARDSLEY clan-it would have to be Mike (Tim Matheson)cuz he was just so damn good-looking and of all of the Beardsley siblings, he resented Helen the most and I like how he started to bond with young little Phillip!

sharePicking one out of that mob? I'd have to say the oldest daughter as I was about her age when I first saw this movie. I often wonder what her life was like when she grew older, what kind of woman she turned out to be. Did she go on to have a career, lead a glamorous life - or 'settle down', live in a house down the street with a sturdy husband and start cranking out kids just like Helen?

shareOne of the magnificent things about the film is, every single kid is memorable even if he/she only has one or two lines or moments in the spotlight. Amazing screenwriting!
