Just an excuse for a Theme Park Ride?

I have the weird idea that Disney's only interest in remaking "YS" is so they will have an idea for a new water ride at their theme parks in a couple years when the "Finding Nemo" ride has grown tired.

Ironically Sony already has a Yellow Submarine ride at their theme park in Bonn, Germany (although I've never been there). Would be funny to hear Old Fred speaking German though.

Not sure what right Sony has to use the characters from the film even if they do own the rights to the song(s) from the film but not the film itself.
