A friend of mine put it an interesting way. Yellow Submarine was a great trip. The Wall was quite messed up, but in a good way.

Oh spiffing. Absolutely spiffing. Well done. Two dead, twenty-five to go.

Yellow Submarine is definitely 'trippier', and something I would recommend to anyone looking to try LSD. The Wall, while an amazing film, and certainly trippy at parts, is not something I would watch or recommend anyone watch on any kind of trip. I already made that mistake. [IMO]It has too many disturbing/horrifying scenes and images to really be enjoyable in the same circumstances.[/IMO]

Exactly! The Wall was certainly NOT made for people who wants a deeper emotional and subconscious trip with LSD or a like, but The Wall speaks to the conscious mind and the critical intellect. DO NOT TAKE A TRIP TO THE WALL!
