Everyone's so nasty!

Doris's claws come out as soon as the pretty neighbor lady walks up (she calls her a streetwalker!).

And Barbara Hershey is practically psychotic (anyone should be happy to share a house with dreamy Flip!).

Even George Carlin as the drive-in waiter makes some snarky comment immediately.

I suspect it was the Vietnam War, getting on everyone's nerves.

That's nothing compared to what Stacy and Flip are putting Doris and Brian through.

And that argument between Doris and Brian was just too real -- with just the slightest bit of re-direction it could have been an outtake from "Virginia Woolfe."

Director Howard Morris was just out of his depth. Should have stuck with Ernest T. Bass.
