Because with six you get egg roll?

My favorite Doris Day movie. As a young boy we saw the Saturday matinee.
Pillow Talk, and The Glass Bottom Boat are two other great Doris Day movies.

Hey Johnny, I couldn't agree with you more. This is by far my favorite Doris Day film.... and like you, I also enjoy seeing "The Glass Bottom Boat", (Can you believe that is Dom Deluise in that film?!?)

If I could have one wish answered for my life.... it would be to spend an hour with the eternally-lovely Doris Day.

My sisters and I grew up LOVING this movie!!! Brian Keith and Doris Day have impeccable comic timing and delivery and play off each other so well. Doris really was (and is) in a class by herself.

One of my favorite lines from this movie is when one of Abby's children is calling "MOMMY!"...Abby rolls her eyes and says, "You know you can learn to hate that word." As a mommy now myself, I soooo identify with that and have even quoted that line to my husband.

Great flick and one of my all-time favs. :)

I graduated in 67 and I remember the clothes, the falls, and wigs we wore. The heavy high makeup and hair in a beehive. And all the rules about dating that were way out of date but your parents didn't know...

What a lovely film and a great send off for her. I am surprised that anyone would trash any DD film. How can people be so blind?
Plus it is a wonderful look back at a very complicated and yet still innocent time in our country. It gave us youngsters a chance to see a great family film and forget about college riots and Vietnam for 2 hours.

also, I can relate to the "Mommy" quote. Being a grandmother you can get tired of "Nana, Nana, Nana", too.

Yes- and in "Boat" Doris came closest to doing a NUDE SCENE - when she gets her bathing suit bottom ripped off by Rod Taylor while she's in the water.

Apparently, she really went for "accuracy" and filmed the scene minus her bikini bottom.

"Don't call me 'honey', mac."
"Don't call me 'mac'... HONEY!"

It's to bad the movie wasn't made in the 70s. Day might have shown some skin then.
Even in her 40s she's a knock out.

I liked it but, favorite Day movie?

I wouldn't put this in her top ten.
