Hawaii?

I missed what Max did to Hawaii. I got back in the room just in time to see a guy sitting with a blank face while the tide washed over him. What did they do?

Think about it. If you were watching this nutty planet, would you make contact?

...........Hawaii was the only state that didn't vote for Max. I retaliation he had massive amount of drugs dumped into the drinking water killing off a large part of the population and frying the brains of the survivors. A real nice guy.
True genius is a beautiful thing, but ignorance is ugly to the bone.

And ironically it means that the new Frost State itself become an international colonial and predatory power.

When it was mentioned that Hawaii didn't vote for Max Frost, a cheer went up from the audience, and some stood up as well. As for using LSD to stone Hawaii, the Board of Water Supply responded to a letter to the editor in the local newspaper by saying that since our water supply was rainfall catchment, drugs would be neutralized by various organic/natural substances. As for tossing a container filled with LSD, BWS maintained that security was far too tight, citing practice drills that caught "tiger team" trespassers before they could taint the water.
Nevertheless, Hawaii water did/does have traces of chemicals from agricultural, military, and industrial sources. There include: pesticides, herbicides, cleaning solvents, etc. (LSD wilts away in the presence of such chemical heavy weights?)

In the movie, they identify the drugs dumped in Hawaii as STP--something that dates way back and all I remember was that it was very dangerous and warned against in the same way crystal meth was warned against by the counterculture that promoted the use of acid, mushrooms, mescaline and pot.
