The Big Northeast Blackout Of 1965

It lasted for only 13 hours and was nothing compared to the highly chaotic 1977 New York City Blackout. The 1977 power failure was full of vandalizing, looting and total disorder. Chaos was everywhere in those two days without electricity. Compare that to the 5 measly reports of looting that only occurred during the 1965 event.
