This is film is the grandest and one of the most heartrendingly beautiful cinematic achievements of all time. Having the fullest existing cut of this masterpiece restored on a Criterion Blu-Ray/DVD? That would be my dream come true.

Anyone agree?

It's too valuable to history to let the poor quality of existing prints/transfers to be the film's legacy.
