How to get VHS or DVD

Does anybody know where I could get a DVD or VHS of this movie, with English subtitles ?

reply

So far the only DVDs of this movie I could find are in French only, without English subtitles. If someone will be lucky to find it, please share the information with the rest of us.

A VHS dubbed-in-English version was produced in the late 1960s, I think by Columbia Pictures, and used copies occasionally turn up on eBay; in fact, there's one available right now (a former Rental). I'm not sure whether Imdb allows direct links to items for sale, but if it doesn't come through you can just put "The Two of Us" into a Search in the Category of "DVDs & Movies."

It's a shame that "The Two of Us"/"Le Vieil Homme et l'Enfant" still hasn't been released on DVD in the original French with English subtitles; I loved it when I saw it ages ago, and it gets fantastic reviews from audiences and critics alike whenever it's shown at film festivals.

Thank you for the information about this movie. I have purchased it from ebay following your tip. If I can be of assistance in any of your searches (I collect rare movies, especially on Jewish/Holocaust subjects), please feel free to contact me at [email protected]
