Richardson, Why dubbed?

Can anyone give me a reason why John Richarson was dubbed by a voice artist in the finished film.

Was he dubbed? I thought he was dubbed in SHE, but allowed to talk in VENGEANCE OF SHE.

At least they let Andre Morell talk in this one. (He was dubbed in the first film by the admittedly cool George Pastell.)

Interesting question. I also thought he was dubbed in "The Vengeance Of She."

He was certainly dubbed (David De Keyser's voice is quite unmistakeable), but heaven knows why as his voice in the first movie was perfect

I'm sure he was dubbed in both "She" & "Vengeance of She". If you want

to hear his own voice on film watch "Pirates Of Tortuga"!

Hammer seemed to have a habit of this, for reasons only they apparently know - supposedly Diane Claire was dubbed in PLAGUE OF THE ZOMBIES, and the boy king/god in LOST CONTINENT certainly sounded dubbed as well.
