RIP Douglas Wilmer - but this was a crappy film

Douglas Wilmer died recently, 31st March 2016. He was 96.

He was 47 when the piece of *beep* The Vengeance of Fu Manchu was made. He was just too old to interest the target audience. The film had been tweaked to include a Kung Fu scene. It should have been tweaked a little more - tweaked out of a West German window into the LindenStrasse.

His sidekick Petrie, played by Howard Marion-Crawford, was 53. But he acts about 73. He is a 24k idiot. He behaves like someone who is constantly trying and failing to find his buttocks with both hands and a searchlight. On top of that he is constantly stunned and amazed at the incredible intelligence of his master, like when Smith buys a newspaper or something.

Lee looks devastated, but at least he doesn't have to move or talk.

The film could definitely have gained a star by showing us more of the tits and arse of Tsai Chin, Fu's daughter. It would have been great to see her in a lowcut dress with her tits flopping around all over the place. Think about it.

I don't mind bad films, but this one takes the biscuit.

Verdict: Two thumbs up my fwcking arse!
