Dubbed bit??!

About an hour or so in there's a whole 30 seconds were Georgie is dubbed over (worse than a giallo film) if not mistaken by a female voice too?? WHat the hell was going on there???

The dvd runs a little fast. Has to do with the conversion from PAL. The running time now runs 1hr 53min instead of 1hr 58 min. Therefore everyone's voices, especially those of Mills and Bennett sound unusually high pitched.

I just watched it, and this did not occur in the version I watched (on television).
There was a scene where Martin and Susan are in the bedroom, after Susan had been to see Martin's mother. Susan is sitting on the bed and Martin is on the floor in front of her. That's the only part, when I saw it, that had a voice over. However, that was Susan zoning out of what Martin was saying, and replaying in her head what his mother had told her. So, the voice we hear while the camera is on Martin's face, and he is talking, is his mother's voice, as remembered by Susan.
However, this is considerably more than an hour into the film, so perhaps this is not the scene you refer to. I saw it very recently, so it seems that mistake has been rectified.

I'll have to revisit- maybe I was being really thinck, I can't see how they would have made such a huge mistake, and if they had it would be more of an issue. I'll rewatch it soon and clarify!

It was intentional but looked as if it was purposely re-dubbing the girl. I was amused at first.
