IMPO - I thought this classic anthology style film
was really good & it seemed most interesting
yet very abstract definitely not ordinary .
The entire film is spoken in French
but it has English subtitles .
I found the storylines keep my attention
and it has a " now classic all star cast "
in it too .
I would recommend at least watching it once
especially since you already recorded it .
Also I don't see the harm in checking it out
then you can make your own decision
if you liked it or not .

I had began the movie tonight. The subtitles didn't bother me. I love France. As an equestrian I must say that I did have a problem with the imagery of the horses in the fire. It was also interesting to see the ocelots in the movie..,growing from a kitten into adulthood. Wonder if that's a subtle reference to the artist Salvador Dali, as he kept them as pets (in his NYC hotel no less! I have an interesting story related to that if you care to hear it). I definitely saw the Fellini in it, parts reminded me of his movie Casanova. Wow...Jane Fonda. Not only did it showcase her beauty but also that she did ride and speak French quite well (wasn't her husband French...Vadim?) unless it was lip synced (sounded like her). I was impressed. I'm still enjoying her work (a series on Netflix called Grace and Frankie). I will get back again to you after I complete this cine. I hope that my correspondence isn't unwelcomed. I'm always looking forward to a good chat about something worthy of discussion. Low battery. Have to go.

I just found out Vadim was of Russian descent, but grew up in France. It will be fun seeing the Fonda siblings speaking in French. I was 1 when this film came out. Was Jane pregnant during the filming?
