Watch Out for "Widescreen" Copies!

Insofar as I can tell, this movie was made in "academy ratio" (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Academy_ratio), as was common for average-budget films of the time.

While the "widescreen" copy of the film that some folks are selling has much higher resolution (it *IS* nice and clear), it is missing a considerable amount of the picture as it has been cropped at the top and bottom to simulate "widescreen". (Not sure, but this *MAY* have been done for practical reasons as there may have been intrusive hard-coded foreign subtitles at the bottom of the screen, depending on the original source.)

The version presently featured on YT (http://bit.ly/2hBxGSl) is the best compromise of quality and composition that seems to be out there right now.
