Why I love TMC

I have been wating to see this film for YEARS. As a classic horror fan, I was excited to just accidentally catch it on TCM today. A great low budget horror film! Lots of subtext, and a little hamfisted in the Corman way. Why is this not on DVD. A previous reviewer mentioned starkness... and I agree. This film could be seen as the grand-dad to Henry: Portrait of a Serial Killer.

A nice horror movie, and a great psychological thriller. Even if cheezy in execution.

BTW, I must mention... gore does not a horror movie make. A lot of lessons could be learned from some of these low budget, low blood movies.

It is a great movie and I am glad I saw it yesterday. I will post when TCM is going to show it again for those that missed it. I am sure TCM will show it again sometime.

Hard to believe, but it has been out on DVD since 2003. It has intro AND commentary from
Bogdonovich. Shouldn't be to hard to find and at a good price.
