Tim O'Kelly looks like Matt Damon

he really does have a resemblance.

Thanks! Then I guess I'm not the only one who noticed that resemblance!

I had to keep reminding myself that this movie is more than 40 years old. Every time Tim O'Kelly appeared on screen, I kept thinking this was some Matt Damon flick from just a few years ago.

Also short like Matt Damon. Early cloning?

yeah i thought the same thing, now if there was a remake that part is clear, but what about a modern day Karloff? "Matt Damon's" wife could be played by Chloe Sevigny, for some reason that part reminded me of her role in American Psycho.(maybe because she's in great danger!) ;)

I always thought Tim O'Kelly looked familiar, but I never made the Matt Damon connection. You're right, there's a large similarity. Though one big difference is O'Kelly's mouth. I mean that literally. Dude had a mouth like a sea bass, I kept expecting to see a fishhook through his lip.

wait. it's not matt damon??

I kept thinking the same thing. If they remade this movie (which is probably only a matter of time), it'd be Matt Damon and Christopher Lee (or Walken).

reply

OP,
Was thinking that through the whole movie. Came here just to post about it, but it looks like you've already done it. lol

Yes!

I see the Matt Damon resemblance. For me though, I kept thinking Willem DaFoe. First time I saw the trailer for this I thought it was him. Something about the eyes and the smile
