Can anyone tell me what the song-lyrics are??

Someone told me that Hilda's songs (and the villagers' songs) aren't included in the subtitles of the UK DVD! Can anyone who knows what they are post 'em here?? Thanks!!

reply

I made a set of English subtitles from the French ones that are readily available on the internet. Songs are included, as they were in the French. They might be the only English translations of the songs anywhere (but let's not jump to conclusions.)

Available at these sites:

Thanks, pal!! Okay, I've downloaded 'em...but when I try to read 'em, the computer says that it can't find an applicable programme??

Sorry for the late response, by the by.

Try wordpad. Or notepad. SRT files are subtitle files that are used by various media players, but the file structure is just simple text.

Here is the one I used, you will need a login name to download it:

You can get a bypass login at http://www.bugmenot.com

Subtitles can be played using a free media player such as VLC Media Player. Go to File > Open File, then specify the movie file, checkmark Add subtitle and then browse for the subtitle file. The subtitle file will then automatically play alongside the movie when watching it.

It makes a great help if you haven't got a copy (e.g. AVI) that hasn't already got subtitles with it.
