Great trio of performances!

All three of the actors in this film gave outstanding performances. Well-deserved Oscar nominations for Patricia Neal and Jack Albertson (winner of the best supporting actor Oscar). But, Martin Sheen should also have been nominated. Overall, this was a decent film, worth watching for the performances. It kinda reminded me of the British "kitchen sink" dramas from the late 50s-mid 60s.
