Such a BUMMER!!
I finally watched this entire Movie on TCM tonight for the first time & listened to every word that was spoken during this basically 'Filmed Play'. I Love Sheen, Albertson, & O'Neal (I'm kind of a film buff/trivi etc.)& these actors are definitely at the frickin top of their game in this film!..BUT!..I have good NEWS & Bad News about this film peoples! This film sends a cold chill down my Spine and I immediately feel like 'I'm walking on Egg Shells or Thin Ice while watching it! Fantastic Movie but makes you think of any sadness in your life while growing up. My God, It makes me feel so appreciative of my own Parents/siblings & safe non-abusive upbringing. This movie made me cry several times & I know right now at this very minute that I will have a sad/empty feeling in my gut for around 3 days after watching it tonight. I love movies that bother me for several days & wretch my gut. That's the true sign of an effective Story/movie God Bless TCM. Very cool film & it made me hug all my kids and tell them how much I loved them! (I'm a Dad/Father thank you)
