It's on now... I don't know if I can make it.......
As a lover of "bad" movies- I just don't know if I can make it through this one. What were they thinking? Anyone else?

shareyes it's really bad Grant but I just can't believe it's Otto Preminger!
shareOk Burgess Meredith and Peter Lawford just walked in- it's getting worse..... Groucho was horrible (never thought I'd say that...)
shareI was amazed to watch the first 20 minutes, then just caught the very end...what a mess...some one with too much money and too much time on their hands convinced otherwise sane actors to read this nonsence. truly a waste of film.
shareyou just don't get it
shareI agree, suziecheezy. It seems that only you and nlamey understand this film, as far as the posts so far. I've been watching it on TCM (2 a.m., Jan. 19, 2014) and while it isn't a masterpiece, it definitely is much better than what most of the people on here are saying. As you said, they don't get it.
shareThis movie has roots back to the 30's and forwards to the present, it's truly iconic.
shareWell I made it and I can't get that darn song out of my head!
"Skidoo, skidoo
between one and three is two..."
It's easy.
This was made my the old generation of Hollywood who saw the changes of the 1960's from the outside but couldn't understand it from the inside. It's an old person's imitation of what they thought the 1960's were about.
For another example of this, see Dick Shawn in "The Producers."
Skidoo is also just a cheap shot at cashing in.
