well you were not alone. back in 1968 when this movie was made Bardot was the Helen of Troy of her day... the woman that launched a thousand ships!!! LOL!! i'm quite sure that after the waterhole scene with Bardot bathing the theater was empty. i was 13 when this film hit the theaters and Brigitte Bardot defined the "sex kitten". she is totally HOT!
btw, Bardot played Andraste in Helen of Troy in 1956.

Brigette Bardot was in the movie "Helen of Troy" (1956 not 1959). However she was not Helen. If I recall correctly she was one of Helen's handmaidens (or slavegirl). It was a very small part.
