The opening was creepy

The black and white footage of hand-to-hand combat between Steiger and the German soldier. The killing was very sexualized...like a SNUFF film. His victim was a cute young man. Steiger gets him in a close body lock and Steiger himself goes limp when the guy let's out his last gasp. It's like they both had sex. Or at least, if Steiger can't *beep* him, he'll kill him all the same. See the obsessive way Steiger chases him down. Very twisted.
