Is this available in VHS/DVD?
I can't seem to find this film on EBay or Amazon. Everytime I enter the title in their search box, I get a huge list of campy horror film titles. Has it been released in VHS/DVD?
shareI don't know. I saw it ONCE, in 1983 [on KQED in Santa Rosa, California] and never forgot its power and message.
I too have been looking for it for years. I have even requested The Criterion Collection obtain the right to release it to no avail thus far. It IS an important movie.
Please let me know if you ever find out its availability, on DVD, and I will keep watch myself and let you know if I find out anything.

I taped this movie back in the 80's from the USA Network. I haven't watched it in years, but I know I still have it somewhere in my closet. I'll have to make a copy onto Dvd-r one of these days.

I used to watch this every time on USA Network back in their early days, was on many mornings for some reason, dubbed in English. I loved it.
I found a version in the original German to download online but no subtitles came with it and no useful files could be found so gave up on that one.
Glad there is a source somewhere for this excellent and hard-to-find movie. Thanks!
