DVD aspect ratio wrong

If what it says on Amazon is correct, then the DVD is the wrong aspect ratio. The movie is in 2.35:1 but the DVD is 1.33:1.

I've just seen it on a region 2 dvd in Cinemascope (2,35:1).
So the dvd version you're mentioning has the film panned and scanned to fit the old television.

"The Beamer Xperience: 9 feet wide home cinema bliss."

Mine's 2:5:1 too.
