Christopher Young

Imdb has Christopher Young as the composer. He was only 11 when the film came out. Is that possible? I don't understand. Then the next thing he has credited is in 1981. Can someone please clue me in.

Christopher Young's name does appear opening credits of the vhs version. However his credit differs somewhat in color and size and actually seems to be covering up another name. I suspect the 1968 cut of the movie had a different (possibly public domain or home composed) soundtrack. I wouldn't be surprised if the dialog was looped as well.

I wonder what other changes there are (if any) between the original and the re-release?

I thought this was strange too, but according to its Wikipedia article, the film was rescored for its 1983 VHS release, making it Christopher Young's third film score. The 1968 version had a score from John Randolph Eaton (in his only known film credit).
