Cartman says the same thing all the time on South Park. That's our "LifeofPies" Jamaal, our little Cartman hahahaha....Damn hippies!!! Could you be any more lame Jamaal?

when you cionsire the opportunity the hippies had, it has to be concluded that they blew it. Too many drugs lead to too many empty dreams.
And what did these baby bommers leave behind... record coruption, pollution and unwed mothers.

yup, they had all the breaks, they had the eyes of the world upon them... but the hippies would rather get high than actually CHANGE the world... so the world only became worse.

The hippies were a failed experiment. Good ideas.... all that peace and love sounds great on the surface, but the hippies forgot to realize that there are just some plain mean, evil people in the world. Sometimes you have to fight back. Sharing and turning the other cheek doesn't always work. Sad but true.

Just another drunken Fourth of July, eh?

What killed the "hippie dream" were two simple words: "lunch time" or "dinner time." If one is out grooving in Golden Gate Park or walking the streets of Haight Ashbury passing out flowers and painting their faces, there eventually comes a time when you say, "hey, I'm hungry and I'm broke."

Human nature will eventually make us come back down to earth and live in the real world.

Also don't forget the bad rep that the media gave hippies at the end of the sixties - Altamont and Charles Manson.
