I'd order a copy, but I asked for it for Christmas That being said, if I don't get it, I'll be placing an order on the 26th! I'm not taking any chances due to this being a 3,000 copy-only edition!

The reviews I've read so far have been quite amazing, and it sounds like the definitive release of the film. One review did a comparison with the German Blu-ray, and showed that the US release is indeed an improvement.

Grindhouse has been three-for-three with their blu-rays thus far, and are slowly becoming the Criterion of exploitation films! Now if only they'd release Chinese martial arts films from the 70s...

Did you ever get a copy? I just gave the audio commentary with Joyner and Parke a listen this morning and quite enjoyed it.
