ghosts italian style

i've always known about this movie and has looked for it at halloween time but didn't find it available until this year, unfortunately i noticed when i got the dvd that it didn't have english subtitles and the language is italian, but i didn't need subtitles to get that sophia is a complete knockout and stay hooked for 90 minutes without understanding a word, but she doesn't really have any memorable scenes (with the exception of playing mary) and pretty much stays in the same hairstyle and outfit throughout the movie, but for some reason the dvd display menu features about a dozen different sophia loren portrayals through decades of movies, i mean once you see that you would have already bought the dvd, but its actually a great dvd release, the picture quality is amazing. i found it strange that this is so rare and hard to find movie considering its starring italys biggest stars at the height of their careers, but marcello mastroianni despite being featured as the main cast on the cover actually only appears in a (very strange) cameo the last few seconds of the movie, adding to that i'm pretty sure its the only horror theme (or spooky rather) movie sophia loren has starred in. i still don't know what the movie was about, but the dvd cover front gives away the end.
