twilight zone episodes that this is based on. (you'll want to see this)

i was a teenage boob when i first saw all these planet of the apes movies air on tv, i think that was the right time to watch them, since then i have discovered the great twilight zone series they used the author from in this, if you want to see similar things like this and perhaps live outside usa and is not aware of the twilight zone series, i strongly urge you to check out these episodes:
"the rip van winkle caper",
"i shot an arrow into the air,
"people are alike all over"
and numerous episodes of the last man finding female companionship, all these episodes are also available as twilight zone radio dramas. i remember hearing in a behind the scenes to this that it was extremely hot on the filming location, that makes it painful to watch them in those uniforms, i rarely like behind the scenes and commentary, usually you just end up being disappointed cause they take the magic away. i thought about rewatching all these planet of the apes movies this summer but now i'm not sure, i remember the first one was clearly the one i liked best, and the second, spoiler, brought back heston to kill him and then got a heston look alike, the series i couldn't even get hooked on.

cast my mind back a couple of years,
when it was like heaven having you near,
like a weekend full of sunshine i held so dear,
but your smile vanished and blown away is what once was here,
as your sun kissed body makes the memories come through clear,
but you've frozen since yesteryear.

All I remember is that episode where a group of astronauts are supposedly in space on an asteroid and the temperature is unbearably hot, but they were actually scammed and landed in Death Valley

An ending similar to the twist ending on this movie.

Here is a video that re-imagines the film as an episode of the Twilight Zone: http://www.potamediaarchive.com/TZ.htm.

That was pretty good work...

The origional Planet Of The Apes remains a sci-fil classic and always will be. Beneath was a serviceable sequel but it started to go downhill fast after that. There is simply no replacing someone like Charlton Heston.

twilight zone episodes that this is based on.

Planet of the Apes is based on a French novel, not The Twilight Zone.

That was entirely unreadable. Try using things like grammar, punctuation, spelling and sentence structure.

You were wrong.

I DEFINITELY did not want to see this.

No proper capitalization, horrible grammar, every sigle 'I' that should be uppercase, typed as lowercase..

Who can even START reading something like your ATROCIOUS post? The girl that had been imprisoned for her whole life and didn't even recognize basic words when the cops asked her, would write more coherent posts before she was ever released from that nightmare.

I could probably go to a random country, ask some pre-schooler to write a post and they would most likely write something way more legible than whatever your character vomit is supposed to be.

It's actually quite a miracle to be ABLE to write something so bad that even I can't be ar5ed to even start trying to point out the flaws. It would be faster to TRY to point what is correct about your absolutely HORRENDOUS post, but there probably wouldn't be much of a point.

Congratulations to the school system, your parents, or whoever is responsible for your world's number one garbage post in history. You get 0 out of 1000.

To be fair, you are replying to a ghost (pre IMDb closure) thread and complaining about capitalisation, whilst randomly capitalising WORDS yourself.

I'm calling shenanigans on this whole curious affair...
