Where Was Training Camp Filmed?

Back then, the Lions had training camp in Michigan, but for the movie, was it filmed in California, Florida, etc?

Given the setting and facilities, I strongly suspect that it was a college campus. This was where most NFL teams held their training camps in the old days. I assume that it was somewhere in Michigan.

I doubt it, there aren't too many palm trees in Michigan, and I've been to their training site in Michigan at the time, and it's definitely not it.

There also aren't any palm trees in the movie, you need to get a plant ID book. There's a bunch of deciduous trees, and some pines here and there. Could easily be Michigan, but I have no idea what the actual spot was.

The info here mentions Missouri, Florida and New York (central park). The flatness and tree scarcity of the training camp scenes seems likely to be Florida.

Boca Raton, FL. Its listed in the opening credits.

St. Andrew's School, Boca Raton to be exact (listed in opening credits.)

At the time the Lions held training camp at Cranbrook School in Bloomfield Hills, MI.

When the movie "Paper Lion" was scheduled it was wintertime and much of Michigan was snow-covered, plus Cranbrook would not agree to clear students out of much of the campus for several weeks to do the movie.
