Ian Holm, who as everyone knows played Bilbo in Peter Jackson's Lord of the Rings, playing Puck in this movie, sure looks like Gollum....green & troll-like...crazy stuff! Sebastian Shaw, who played the old Anakin Skywalker/Darth Vader in Return of the Jedi is also in this. Also a young, green Judi Dench (M from the Bond films). Also, David Warner, Ian Richardson, AND a pretty hot Helen Mirren from 38 years ago :) What a cast! Old movies are great!

Look what even just in the last 6 years outside of M in movies Mrs Caloway, Aeron, Ursula, Lady de Bourg, Mrs Herderson, Barbra Covett, Mona Carvell, and Liliane le Flur; on stage The Countess in All Well that Ends Well, Judith Bliss, Mistress Quickley Marry Wives (musical), and Madame De Sade; Narration and voice work Pangourne, Go Inside to Greet the Light, Doogal, and "Bugs!". This is only most resent work.
shareIn defense of OP, If you had never seen or even heard of any of Judi other roles past or present, this role along with her lengthy stay as "M" in James Bond sticks out in the public eye much clearer than any other role.
