A Great Soundtrack, but...

I recently purchased the soundtrack on eBay (Morricone - Il Mercenario & Facca a Facca), and I love all the tracks on it.... however, the "L'Arena" track is quite scratchy/staticy when the horns begin to blare! I have a feeling I bought a bootleg even though it was in "factory wrap", but in any case, the rest of the rare tracks make up for it. I would highly recommend it... as long as it's not a defective copy like this one...

I love the "l'Arena" Track. But I don't know it from this movie. I know it from Kill Bill Vol. 2. And I cannot imagine that the scene in this film is more emotional than the scene when the bride gets rid from her grave.

I liked Kill Bill vol 2, but the bull-ring scene in The Mercenary is awesome and the music is absolutely perfect for it. Although I actually saw KB2 before The Mercenary, the scene from TM is what springs to mind whenever I hear "L'Arena".

Morricone rocks!

You can now see how "L'Arena" compliments the film, Il Mercenario, on YouTube! I can't access the site now, but search under the keywords "Kill Bill Il Mercenario" to find it.

here's the scene from il mercenario. but also remember, that the emotion in this scene is most likely different after you've watched the whole film.

I'm very proud to call myself an owner of the original Soundtrack on LP.
