i bought it today. did not watch it yet, so no comments on the quality. however i usually love the KOCH DVD releases.

this DVD is 102 mins long, IMDB states that the "full" version is 110 mins long.
also, the booklet and inlay are not eye-catching.

get it if u dont have it, i have never seen a 110 mins version on DVD out there

Ordered it a few days ago from amazon.de. The transfer is very good, far superior to the non-anamorphic Japanese release from several years previous to this. I have to admit that the backing soundtrack is much softer than on the Japanese DVD, which is a great shame as this is one of Morricone's best scores.

The only other disappointmen is the rather lacklustre and mundane cover art on the sleeve of the DVD and the disc art itself, the Japanese disc wins hands down in this respect.

In short, a worthy purchase for fans of Corbucci, Nero and Spaghetti Westerns in general. It's one of the best examples of the genre, not taking itself too seriously, yet with an underlying political message of the late 60s era in Italian politics.

maybe this is because of NTSC and PAL differences. PAL is a little bit faster so movies are shorter even if they are complete. I think all of Europe uses PAL.

geeks with attitude!

Not PAL is faster than NTSC, but TV is faster than Film: 25 frames per minute instead of 24. That means that 110 minutes in the cinema are in fact 105 minutes on TV. If 102 minutes instead of 110 are correct, 3 minutes are missing.
