I'd given just about anything if the crew from mst3k had done this one--it'd be a great movie for their comments! I read somewhere (perhaps one of the reviews here) that it was "like Love Boat on acid"--that about sums it up. Every time I watch it, when the captain reaches down and that living seaweed wraps around his hand, I want to yell to the others in the boat, "Instead of just watching him, why don't you help him???!!"

I agree, this would have been a great movie for the MST3K crew to sink their teeth into. But you can find a few choice zingers in the comment threads for "The Lost Continent" on YouTube:

Aw, nuts. YouTube has removed the video for terms-of-use violation. Too bad -- there were some very funny comments there.
