Interesting fact…

…which I have just picked up from a perceptive poster on another board. This film co-stars the Best Actress Oscar winner for 1933 and the Best Actor winner for 2020 - that’s a whopping 87 year gap!

Apologies to the aforementioned poster, should he happen to read this, but this was just too notable not to share.

I wonder if thats a record.

reply

I think it has to be. He also noted that previously the record-holder was, I believe, The Iceman Cometh, which featured 1932 winner Fredric March and 2009 winner Jeff Bridges.

I don't get what you're talking about? This movie is from 1968, Joaquin Phoenix wasn't born until 1974.

reply

Didn't Anthony Hopkins win this year, for a 2020 film?

reply

I meant this years ceremony for films from 2020, so Anthony Hopkins.

reply

Actually, that's not an interesting fact.

Agree.
