How I love a really bad movie!
Watching it, I could tell how come it was so rarely aired in the US, certainly never in the first decade or so after its release: its critical allusions to the Vietnam War.

I wish it was available on Region 1. It's such a horrendous movie but it's simply fantastic. Thank God for IFC.
