...on this awesome, brilliant movie?
I found it to be a work of art, a true masterpiece. I want to know if there are any more people who think the same, so don't be shy little black lizards, speak out!

I just watched it on Criterion's hulu channel and I think it's amazing. "Work of art/True masterpiece" might be pushing it a bit for me - I prefer the somewhat similar movie "Branded to Kill" - but as far as totally ridiculous funny Japanese James Bond-esque movies go - Black Lizard is certainly up there. It's thoroughly entertaining and crazy and I loved it. A 9/10.
6-months later edit: So I just realized that the film I watched was the 1962 version by Umetsugu Inoue, and this Kinji Fukasaku movie is a remake... >_>

Minority opinion here: I wish I loved this as much as you did. Really, I wish I even liked it. But despite the imaginative art direction, I just found the plot, performances and direction tedious. 4/10 stars from me.
