Interlude -- soundtrack CD

This wonderful music by Georges Delerue has been re-recorded and released in the U.S. I've found most soundtracks are available from ScreenArchives.com for about $20. Interlude has a Timi Yuro sound-alike for the main theme, but I like her better because her voice is more pure than Yuro's. If you've been dying for this soundtrack, I recommend this issue. By the way, it's double the price on eBay!

Tried to find the CD on ScreenArchives.com but came up blank. Have been searching for this soundtrack for 20 years. Would appreciate clue to how to find it. Thnx

Type in Interlude, in the search box. A link called Interlude & Rapture will come up. Click it, and you will see that half this CD is music from a movie called Rapture, and the second half is from the movie Interlude. Hope this helped!

Got it ordered thanks....disappointed that it doesn't contain all the bands the LP has...none of the classical music, if I read it right. Now I'm in search of the movie...does anyone have any leads?

I got a bootlegged DVD off of Ebay... not sure how else to get it as no one has the license to distribute the movie anymore.

You can get a copy on ebay. It may be bootleg but the copy was good and price reasonable.

I tried ebay but found nothing. Was there a special category you were looking under when you found your copy?

I have the original LP, just ripped it and made a CD of it. I was looking on the Web trying to find a JPEG of the ORIGINAL lp cover but can't seem to find it. Would like to include the art in my iTunes library. I played this album constantly when I first bought it in 1968 and consequently it's pretty poppy and scratchy, but through all of that I still love the Delerue tunes and Timi Yuro singing. If anyone out there knows where the original cover art is it would be appreciated!

Hi!

I have the original LP. The cover is still in good shape. I would be glad to send you a copy of it. I am not computer literate, so tell me hiow to go about sending you a copy.

ps: I am looking for a copy of the movie.

Hi Linda,

Well, you would have to scan it and then turn the scan into a JPEG or TIFF file and send it to me. That in itself is a lot if you aren't that computer literate. I do this all the time but found my scanner isn't large enough to scan album covers. So.......I really appreciate the response. I too would love to have a copy of the movie. It came out when I was freshman in college. Those were the days!

All The Best,

Tim

Linda:

I once had a copy of the Interlude album, but it was stolen in 1970, along with the rest of my album collection, in a household move. I loved this movie and the music. I was hoping that I might be able to obtain a cd of the album from you. BTW: suggest you go to the Oskar Werner Online Forum to see if you can get a dvd of the movie. I got a copy, but I'm not sure I can copy from it.

I knew Timi Yuro, Timi Yuro was a friend of mine. Sir, that was Timi Yuro singing on the soundtrack.

That particular soundtrack features French singer Lina Boudreau, not Timi Yuro.

I've bought this soundtrack from ScreenArchives. Returned it the same day as it has nothing to do with the original score. Perhaps the second half ...

Does anyone have a venue that sells the original in a cd form? I would appreciate anyone's input.
