Connection with Hitchcock's 'The 39 Steps'

The set for the Tudor Arms hotel in the movie looked suspiciously similar to the hotel set in Hitchcock's 'The 39 Steps'. The bedroom seemed almost identical to the way I remembered it in Hitchcock's movie. We're both film sets based on the same location in England?
