2nd Best Clouseau? Rate 'em

We all know that Seller IS Clouseau, but they have now made five films without Sellers (counting Trail of the Pink Panther) and five with him. Rate the stars! Although Arkin obviously lacks the Seller's touch he was a great comedian in his own rite and did a good job when viewed independantly. Here is how I rate the Clouseaus.

1. Peter Sellers (Surprise)
2. Alan Arkin
3. Roger Moore (Remember? Best scene in that movie)
4. Ted Wass
5. Steve Martin
6. Roberto Benigni

in all fairness, Wass didn't play Clouseau, and Benigni actually played Clouseau's son, so i'm not sure if they ought to be included here or not... from what's left, though, i'd list them like this:

1. Sellers (DUH!)
2. Martin
3. Moore
4. Arkin

Once again, seeing how Benigni played his son, and Wass played the detective who was investigating the disappearance of Clouseau, so my list is

1. Sellers
2. Martin
3. Arkin
4. Moore
5. Pat Harrington Jr. (Technically played him in The Inspector cartoon shorts)

reply

1. Peter Sellers

2. ..................
(there's only one Clouseau)

reply

Let's see.. there was Steve Martin, Alan Arkin, Roger Moore..

..I feel like I am forgetting someone, but probably not that important, must be a forgettable performance.
