You don't always see this - Spoiler Alert

I love the way the movie portrays the active sex life of a middle-aged couple. They're always sneaking off to be together and when they're tempted, they resist. In most movies today, one or the other would succumb and it would be seen as perfectly normal and acceptable.

In this movie, despite their closeness, love, and desire for each other, they almost let jealousy, mistrust, and outside forces derail their solid relationship.
